When people get cocky.. it's rather irritating.
I love my Bade so very much and I just felt that that should be announced.. Seriously though, it's nice to be able to talk to someone who actually understands the stupid (and sometimes annoying/frustrating) stuff. We've got the vibe.. lmao ;)

So I definitely left for dance at 9:30am yesterday and didn't get back home til after midnight.. Teaching was fine, my class combined with Miss Amy's and Miss Megan's in the gymnastics room to eat chips and just play around. Went to Rochester after that; finished all girls and their jazz class is just too short, lol. I started thinking about stuff and Miss Magyn could tell so her and I talked for a bit.. and it was really nice to actually talk about what I was thinking because it was on my mind for a looong time, so it just felt good to get it off my chest... she's like a big sister to me because she went through the same stuff I am. And it's nice that she's local (unlike Angel:(..)so in case I'm not in the mood to be home I can stay with her. I went with her and Miss Amy to Eastside to eat, which was a good time. Miss Amy said that when I'm 18 I should move out and live with her or Magyn. I told her I'd so do it, lol. So anyways, I went with Magyn to her apartment, which is sooo cute and so Magyn lol. Jill and Tracy came over there too and I carpooled with them to the bowling alley. I conned Jonelle into going too, so I'm glad she was there! Her and I were the only high school staff there, and then Jill, Ryan, Tracy, Magyn, Linda, Jim and Xavier were there too. Ohh man, they're all a good time! Xavier was hilarious, he's such a different person outside of ballet class! My bowling scores weren't too bad either, I actually played well! Started the first game with like, three spares, and had some strikes in the second game and the third game I started and ended with a strike. :) I left with Jill, Magyn and Tracy and they drove me to my car around 11:45 and I got home after 12. Yup.. that was my saturday, but it was well worth it. I had a good time:)

Haha, AND we even danced with the lights out!! what's even better was that none of us cared that we were half-naked.. lmao, that sounds so disturbing, but really... it's a dance thing :)

Today was pretty good...:) Kathryn's house was fun, DEFINITELY doing that more often!:) Worked on my solo today too.. I LOVE it. I'm feeling a little more confident with it now, (not jazz though) but yeah:) It snowed:( I hate snow. Driving in it sucks. Dance was great, no one in our regular classes showed up today, so instead of having: tap, rehersal, jazz and ballet... we had rehersal from 4-9. We got soo much done: finished tap, Dance With Me like four or five times... Hiding Under Water and changed some stuff as well as our new and improved jazz dance; All That Jazz. (No more Le Jazz Hot) I like All That Jazz tons better. It's gonna be good:) Ohh and then.. I found out that I got accepted to GVSU. Sweeet.. except I think I'm going to Oakland for the first year anyways, but it's still good news to me:)
Thanksgiving Day parade tomorrow!! I'm in the Santa's Workshop float so we'll most likely be near the end by Santa of course. I'll be one of the cool reindeer:) At least I won't freeze:)
No dance again until next monday.. that's depressing:( But I think a break is well needed.. (but that doesn't mean I won't miss it!)

There's always a certain personality type that you don't want to be.. but somehow it just ends up shining through you when you do want it or mean for it to. It's the worst feeling in the world when other people call you something that you're not, and something that you don't want to be. In no way, shape, or form do I feel like I'm superior to others.. if anything, I feel below people, and I mean that with honesty, not as an attention-grabber. But that's besides the point. All I'm saying is that I hate when I appear to be something/someone that I'm not. Sorry for being that way, you know who you are. I truly didn't mean to be and I certainly don't want to be. The only thing I can add to that is that at the time multiple frustrations just kept building on my shoulders and I burst when I shouldn't have and I'm sorry. But I'm only human... hopefully things will get better.
Dance was rough tonight.. Debbie went crazy (good crazy though if that's understandble) in Free rehersal tonight. I actually felt like being powerful because she was yelling at us.. so I was trying really hard.. and I was so dead at the end. But it's worth it.. for everyone I think. That dance will definitely be awesome in time.
I'm done for tonight.. free day tomorrow for once in my life.. Goodnight.
|
|
| Sorry to those who don't dance.. because you probably won't understand/enjoy this:) |
[14 Nov 2005|09:24pm] |
Dance went well tonight. I'm getting a little more comfortable with my solos, mostly lyrical though. Jazz is still a little... no, a lot rough. It was so cool, the first turn I did I literally did like 7 turns, like originally choreographed.. I was excited haha. Then I did it again then next like, three times I think. SWEEET:) Hopefully that little joy of mine will happen more often:) Hm.. hip-hop is fun but I still feel so "white". I just don't look, or dance for that matter, like a hip-hop dancer. Whatever, it's still fun. I'll get over it.. maybe when I get more confidence I can be okay with it all. Lyrical is getting there, that's just really rough, stupid four turns was so difficult today for some reason! Free... dear Lord, all we did was clean the WHOLE TIME. "Right over left, do it again" Talk about PRECISE! She ran us over by 25 minutes too.. I'm able to make it through though, which is also rather exciting:) That's a hard dance to do.. Debbie + Jazz = really hard and requires a TON of stamina. It'll be good for me though:) Sr. Company rehersal.. I'll just leave it at this: I'm soooo so so so nervous for that dance. I can do it (almost decently) all the way through.. but it still is just not clean :( So yeah.. I'm scared.
I'm pretty excited because I'm not as tired as I usually would be after Mondays.. that can only mean one thing: MORE endurance/stamina!!! YES!! AND!! My left calf muscle usually KILLS by this time.. and it doesn't hurt a bit:) That's a pretty good sign of strength.. :) Only two things I'm struggling with right now is my left hip (KILLS.. I don't know what I did to it:(...) and my right hamstring still hasn't fully recovered from like, two or three weeks ago. I'm hoping that these misfortunres will go away ASAP!! But anyways, so today at dance was a pretty good day. I love it:) Love love love LOVE it!

Things have been really weird lately... I have too many peeves... situations/people get annoying Too many frustrations it feels like (that's why I've been either snippy or quiet) I'm not mad at anyone, just frustrated with the way things are
I got to teach yesterday instead of going to a Free rehersal I bought material for my solo costume today... don't know if I like it yet I love pumpkin spice lattes Dance all day on Saturday.. just the way I like to spend my saturdays:) ALIAS is on tonight; been deprived for two weeks now Hopefully I'll get to reading and doing some devotions tonight I think I'm a die-hard dancer.. it's my passion My mom's going to send in some stuff to Dance Spirit for some modeling thing.. there's dance incentives if I win (which I'm sure I won't) but it'll be fun to try It's time to eat... :)

So somehow we ended up talking about college today during my trio and we were discussing some of my options. I can either go away to college at GVSU or stay home, go to Oakland and dance another year. I've been debating on that for a long time now.. and Miss Katey said something that made my day today:) I was like "I don't want to go" and she said "I don't want you to go either" :D That just made my day! So as of right now.. I'm REALLY considering staying home for a year and dancing again. (And not just because she said that, but because I really have been thinking about doing that for some time now.. that just made me feel good about my dancing:))
I've danced so hard this week.. harder than I usually do.. IDK why either. I think I'm just really prepared to be fully prepared for competitions this year:) I don't want to slack anymore... plus I've realized that doing everything full out ALL the time makes the steps easiter the more I do them (haha go figure...) But anyways.. Hiding Under Water is getting better ( I <333 that dance) and Dance With Me is getting easier, slowly but surely. Free isn't going too bad either.. I'm getting both fouette combinations now!:) (Or I did today... haha) But yeah.. I'm sure NO ONE (Except the dance gals) understand anything I'm saying, but oh well. I love to dance, if you haven't already noticed... Ohhhh and speaking of working really hard, I think I over-worked my left calf muscle cause it hurts SOO bad:( But i'll heal soon:)
<center>*Christmas Spectaular* When: Saturday, December 10th Time: 1:30 pm and 6:00 pm Where: Warren Woods Middle (Southwest corner of 12 mile and Schoenerr) ***I guess tickets sell out REAL fast for this.. so if you're actually interested in going, be there as early as possible. Ahhh I've been SO busy for what feels like soo long! I've had dance everyday for the past three weeks, due to workshops. But honestly, I don't mind it because it's putting me back in shape. Homework has been high on the list too.. if I'm not dancing, I'm doing homework. And then of course, if I'm not doing homework then I'm hanging out with the gang:) Homecoming and the HC game are coming up this weekend.. getting kind of excited about it (yet nervous at the same time..) But anyways.. things have been good, just busy; really busy.
